Dubai International Private School

We are proud to be partners with INJAZ UAE, a local chapter of INJAZ Al Arab and member of Junior Achievement Worldwide (JAW). JAW is one of the world’s largest non-profit business education organizations, reaching over 10 million students a year across 121 countries. It serves as a nexus between the business community, educators and volunteers working together to empower young people to own their economic success.

Every year, Injaz strives to:

  • Increase the skills and economic participation of youth in UAE.
  • Encourage youth in UAE to take initiative and become entrepreneurs.
  • Enable youth in UAE to plan their career through business mentoring programs and activities.
  • Link youth in UAE with successful role models from the private sector.

Give UAE corporations an opportunity to shape their future workforce and support Emiratization.

Dubai International Private School

So far this year, DIPS has partnered with Injaz in delivering a “More than Money” Workshop to students from grades 4, 5, and 6. This program is designed to focus on raising education to younger age group students over proper and wise spending, saving and importance of being a SMART Consumer in tough times. The goals of the program included:

  • Introducing economics and business concepts to students.
  • Encouraging students to use innovative ways to learn money-management skills that develop positive attitudes.
  • Identifying students’ personal skills and interests, while exploring businesses and future careers.
  • Reinforcing students’ money management skills learned throughout the program.

The "Young Voices for Sustainable Future" initiative is a collaborative effort between BASF and JAWW for its third year, aiming to integrate young students from diverse backgrounds into the global dialogue on sustainable development.

At the heart of the project is the belief in the untapped potential of young people. By providing them with the resources, mentorship, and platform to express their ideas, the initiative seeks to empower the youth to take charge of their future.

Challenge Selection Workshop

In this team-based, hands-on workshop experience, learners investigate the impact of pollution on the environment. They explore climate change and its social consequences and imagine what climate adaptation and a just transition look like for their community.

National Innovation Challenge

Teams of students solve for the challenge defined during the workshop. They establish innovative and potentially viable solutions to community-related problems and challenges caused by climate change and the transition to a sustainable economy and society.

BASF Mentoring of Winning Team

Volunteers from BASF engage students in six months of mentorship for the winning teams of each National Innovation Challenge. Volunteers coach teams in through implementing their sustainable business solutions.

Global Website Team Showcase

The Virtual Global Exchange gathers the winning teams from each participating country's National Innovation Challenge. Teams create digital showcases to present their ideas to an international audience and collect feedback from peers.
