Competitions and affiliations
DIDI Project Design Space: This competition, organized by the Dubai Institute for Design and Technology, provides a unique opportunity for students to gain real-world experience in the design field. DIDI Project Design Space sets itself apart from other innovation programs by offering student teams the rare opportunity to work on real design projects for actual clients, including government bodies, corporations, and non-profits.
Since the last academic year, 2023-2024, we have created partnerships to participate in the following Programs and competitions.
First LEGO League Competition: Competition between teams of students across the UAE who engage in research, problem-solving, coding, and engineering – building and programming a LEGO robot that navigates predetermined missions.
STEM Ambassador Program: organized and sponsored by Amideast in collaboration with Boeing to enrich our students’ curiosity in STEM-related fields and benefit from theoretical and practical activities related to aerospace engineering and sustainability within the field. The program increases awareness about sustainability, aeronautics engineering, and STEM, creates a thought leadership community through subject matter, and increases the repertoire of students who will act as ambassadors for the STEM program.
DIPS Innovation Fair: The school will hold a science innovation fair to showcase students’ innovative projects and presentations by the end of each quarter, considering our previous successful experience with the Sustainability Fair, which took place in May 2022.
